Established in 1978, Progressive Electronics, Inc., is the work of founder, Craig Metzler, and his son, Chris.
While in the U.S. Navy, Craig served as an electronic technician aboard a nuclear submarine. Once back in civilian life, he founded PEI and put his experience to work for himself.
Today, PEI delivers advanced audio-visual, security and life safety systems for both private and public sector entities — from education to corporations, from military to entertainment venues.
In its 40 years, PEI has maintained a family-run culture, employing 60+ people — many of whom have been with the company a decade or more.
Chris has worked alongside his dad for much of the company’s history and now serves as President of PEI.
